I started with a Scout X a few months ago and liked it. I was looking for something smaller, pocketable and easy to shoot. I love my Hornet 2.0 so much I am buying others as gifts. Thanks for this simple yet wonderful design.
Very good quality and well made.i can throw it in my pocket without having to worry about it breaking.very small and easy to carry im 12 years old and it fits nicly in my hand. i can smoke bottle caps and playing cards from 8 yards pretty easy. I don’t love the original wrap and tuck method but its duable with enough practice. I wouldn’t recommend this for people with larger hands but if you have a smaller hand it will fit well. Very nice slingshot would definitely recommend!
Looks to be well made. I bought the slingshot as a birthday present for my grandson so I haven't opened it. It did come in the mail a couple days earlier than expected!
In Minnesota the night falls quickly the winter. You better get into making light in the night, and the cold outside, or you're going to get bored.
Time to play in the cold.
In the winter we get a 'dayglo' night. Especially if there is snow on the ground. The moon is like sun and you can see your way through the woods. Walking the paths I like to practice the 'North - South' shot where the sling is sideways . The right-left aim does not matter and I aim at tree trunks.
That clay pebble doesn't do a thing to the tree, but you hear the repour as it strikes.
Night hunting practice. Check.
I have been a fan of slingshots, like many, since childhood.
This is not your childhood slingshot - and yet it is.
I have had my share of Wrist-Rockets, and King-Rats.. but this little Hornet has stolen my heart.
The binding is so simple as to almost be eloquent. The band performance in the frame - unbelievable.
Short note. At first I liked tube slings, center aiming. Power. And FLAKY!. Then I adopted the method of holding to the sling not by the handle but by the handle and placing my finger at the 'Y' points... Which I learned here. Like night and day...
The scales have fallin from my eyes.
Can't say enough, save thank you.
