In Minnesota the night falls quickly the winter. You better get into making light in the night, and the cold outside, or you're going to get bored.
Time to play in the cold.
In the winter we get a 'dayglo' night. Especially if there is snow on the ground. The moon is like sun and you can see your way through the woods. Walking the paths I like to practice the 'North - South' shot where the sling is sideways . The right-left aim does not matter and I aim at tree trunks.
That clay pebble doesn't do a thing to the tree, but you hear the repour as it strikes.
Night hunting practice. Check.
I have been a fan of slingshots, like many, since childhood.
This is not your childhood slingshot - and yet it is.
I have had my share of Wrist-Rockets, and King-Rats.. but this little Hornet has stolen my heart.
The binding is so simple as to almost be eloquent. The band performance in the frame - unbelievable.
Short note. At first I liked tube slings, center aiming. Power. And FLAKY!. Then I adopted the method of holding to the sling not by the handle but by the handle and placing my finger at the 'Y' points... Which I learned here. Like night and day...
The scales have fallin from my eyes.
Can't say enough, save thank you.
Before i ordered i sent an email asking about the bands that came with it. I received a response within 2 hours that was friendly and helpful. The color i ordered ended up not being in stock, the service team emailed me with options and gave me a personal reply to my answering email. Fowlers makery and mischief is a great company with great products. I've only used the slingshot for a hour or so but it feels great in the hand and had fantastic setup instructions with the option to watch a video on how to do it by Fowler himself.
As i need additional products that they offer, i will certainly buy from them again and again!

At first I thought it was going to be too small for my hand. But after putting the “skins” on I followed the band installing guide and it was great. I found my grip and after watching the video I was hitting a can at 15 ish feet within an hour. So excited to really get into this hobby.
Tested it out not even an hour after it arrived and I am not disappointed- it's light compact and sturdy enough to withstand constant plinking or hunting had a little trouble with the band tying but that's just because im under inexperienced when it comes to it since im just now getting into the sport fully. I love it more than I expected honestly and I'm 100% going to be practicing more often due to this thing. Thank you zach and good luck everyone.
